ABOUT SAHAR
סהר לב-שומר
Sahar is an American-Israeli Actor, Singer and Dancer based out of New York City. He is a recent graduate from Circle in the Square Theatre School with an emphasis in Musical Theatre, winning the inaugural Alan Langdon Award for Excellence in Contemporary Theatre.
Sahar is moved by art that embraces its heightened nature and utilizes its medium's full aesthetic potential while staying grounded in truth and connection. He is passionate about the production of new works and being a part of the developmental process of a piece. Sahar is impartial to genre or style, "if it's good, it's good".
Growing up, Sahar moved around a lot and was exposed to different cultures, languages and people. As an annoyingly observant child (just ask his parents) he developed an eye for what makes people tick and an ear for what makes people laugh. His work and his personal connections are imbued with his background, his sharp wit, and his warm, yet cutting, sense of humor.
